Hecate Energy has entered into a 20-year PPA with the city of Houston, TX to sell the output of a solar project being developed in West Texas.  The facility will produce about 10.5% of the city's annual electricity needs and the solar power consumed will replace the equivalent amount of electricity that today is purchased from coal-fired generators. The project is now operational.
